Oakland Industries : For over 20 years, Oakland Industries has been delivering electrical construction and general contracting services in Western Canada. Headquartered in Virden, Manitoba, Oakland Industries provides safe and reliable construction solutions for projects that are on time and on budget, and have earned our reputation for customer satisfaction. With extensive experience within the pipeline industry, we’ve developed a range of services for a variety of projects, including VFD Installations, electrical switchgear buildings, valve conversions, sump tank replacements, injection skids and more. At Oakland, we understand that success is not achieved alone. That’s why we’ve built a network of committed subcontractors and suppliers specializing in civil construction and mechanical, as well as other industrial fields, which in turn provide local opportunities to help support the communities in all provinces which we operate. Oakland Industries is a proud member of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB). This annual affiliation will increase our visibility and open new networks by linking us with both aboriginal and non-aboriginal committed partners in our field and provide us with monthly updates to various programs, procurement opportunities and membership events both federally and provincially. Oakland has also reached out to the Aboriginal Human Resource Council for consulting support and training associated with Indigenous Inclusion in an effort to help us learn how to build prosperous partnerships with People, Businesses and Communities.
