Pool Rangers, Inc. : Pool Rangers is a smaller, more exclusive, family owned and operated company; and we’d like to keep it that way. Our business model is based on fewer clientele so we can focus more on the quality of our work. In other words, we prefer quality over quantity. Unlike larger companies, we can oversee all of our employees and personally handle any problems that may occur. In addition, we aim to only hire long-term employees because we know how important it is for our customers to have the same technician at their pool every week. We also NEVER skip pools. Pool Rangers, Inc. was founded by Gary Nalepa from Louisville, KY. Gary moved down to Miami Beach, FL., at age 18 with a suitcase full of his clothes and twenty dollars in his pocket. His first job in sunny South Florida was at the iconic Fontainbleau Hotel on Collins avenue selling suntan lotion and running chairs and towels to hotel guests. At the time, Gary has the pleasure of working alongside Robert Bell, the creator of the Banana Boat sun care line. One day a hotel customer asked if Gary would take care of his swimming pool during the summer while he went on vacation. Knowing nothing about swimming pools, Gary dove right in to the opportunity and this became his very first client. He serviced this pool out of his Volkswagen. ​Thus, Pool Rangers was born and for the next 20 years the business would grow into a family owned and operated company after Gary met his wife; a nurse; Jovita Nalepa. The company was built solely on word of mouth referrals; the foundation being their honesty, reliability and good old fashioned hard work. - a true testament to the quality of their work. The company incorporated in 1997 and has been in business now for over 30 years. And believe it or not, we still have our very first customer still on service to this day!
